Anyone who loves the Mallorca Schlager scene knows: You have to be in Saarland on Whit Sunday. La Fiesta is the region's biggest open-air Schlager party — a single day when thousands of fans of German party pop flock to the Alm grounds in Landsweiler-Reden to experience the biggest names in the scene live.

On the Alm with a Mining Backdrop

The venue is Auf der Alm at the Erlebnisort Reden in Landsweiler-Reden, a district of Schiffweiler/Friedrichsthal. Reden was once one of Saarland's largest hard coal mines — today, the impressive mine building (the Schaubergwerk Reden) shapes the region's image. Directly in front of it, on a meadow with a view of the mountains, ALM Events has created an open-air stage that attracts several thousand visitors every year.

The 2026 line-up reads like a best-of of the German party Schlager scene:

• Julian Sommer — Rising star with hits like “Dicht im Flieger”
• Mia Julia — Mallorca sensation and Ballermann icon
• Lorenz Büffel — the singer of “Johnny Däpp”
• Nancy Franck — Schlager singer with party hits

Doors open at 1:00 PM, music plays until late at night. Minimum age: 12 years (under 16 only with adult supervision).

VIP Area and Group Tickets

In addition to standard e-tickets (€48.90), there is a VIP area with an exclusive food buffet, free-flow drinks, a private stage view, private restrooms, and shuttle service. VIP tickets regularly sell out quickly. 11-Friends-Group Tickets (€489) offer a discount for larger groups.

La Fiesta is one of those events that thoroughly shake up the image of the “sober” Saarland: Here, people celebrate with full force, the population of Saarland mixes with guests from Rhineland-Palatinate and neighboring France. A Schlager party is also a social event — and the atmosphere at the Alm is legendary.
