A Venue with Character

The Kulturscheune in the Old Village is located at Thiestraße 22 in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt and is one of the highlights of the city's cultural offerings. The half-timbered building, which previously stored agricultural equipment and harvest yields, has been carefully restored and can accommodate up to 500 people for concerts. Wooden beams, brick walls, and minimalist stage technology create an intimate yet concert-ready atmosphere, appreciated by both artists and audiences.

2026 Season Program

The 2026 season features a proven mix of comedy, tribute concerts, jazz, and songwriter performances. A total of five dates are confirmed; more may be added and will be announced via Reservix and salzgitter.de.

• Sat, November 14, 2026, 7:30 PM – My'tallica – A Tribute to Metallica – One of the best-known European Metallica tribute bands
• Sat, November 21, 2026, 7:30 PM – The SoulJazz Experience YORK & Band feat. Ulita Knaus – Soul and jazz with the renowned Hamburg singer
• Wed, November 25, 2026, 8:00 PM – Lennart Schilgen – Songwriter and word acrobat, one of Germany's most exciting young songwriters

Ticketing and Directions

Tickets are sold through Reservix (reservix.de). Seating plan and prices vary by event; typically between 25 and 38 Euros for cabaret, 28 to 35 Euros for tribute concerts. Getting there: Salzgitter-Lebenstedt train station, 10 minutes on foot. Parking available in the vicinity of Thiestraße. Admission usually 60 minutes before the start, cloakroom available.
