Comedy marathon with seven comedians rotating between eight venues — one night in Lüneburg's old town
Komische Nacht has a simple yet effective concept: seven comedians, seven or eight venues, a shared schedule. The artists move from venue to venue during the evening, performing a set of about 20 minutes at each. The audience remains in their booked location — and experiences the full lineup throughout the evening. The venues range from cultural centers to breweries, wine bars, bars, and cabaret halls. The format was invented about two decades ago and is now established in numerous German cities. In Lüneburg, Komische Nacht takes place twice a year — in spring and autumn.
The 17th edition takes place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Admission is at 6 PM, and the program starts at 7:30 PM. Seven comedians are confirmed: Yannick de la Pêche, BORA, Anna Bartling, Sebastian Schnoy, Timur Turga, Jesper Wulff, and Dave Davis. Eight venues are participating: Capitol, KLIPPO, KRONE Brauhaus, Kulturforum, Mälzer Brauhaus, Schröders Garten, and Wabnitz Weinbar. Many locations tend to sell out weeks in advance — early booking is recommended.
The 18th Komische Nacht follows on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 — a few weeks after the 'Nacht der Musik' in the same November. The detailed program, lineup, and venues for the autumn edition will be published in the weeks leading up to the event on the organizer's website. Tickets are available via Reservix and heiter und wolkig.
Komische Nacht is organized by heiter und wolkig GmbH, a company specializing in comedy from Hanover. In Lüneburg, Landeszeitung Lüneburg is involved as a media partner and co-presenter. The close cooperation with local gastronomy makes the format an established part of Lüneburg's annual event calendar.
The lineup for the 17th Komische Nacht brings together established stars of the German comedy scene and rising newcomers. Dave Davis and Sebastian Schnoy are regulars on the German stand-up and cabaret scene, BORA, Anna Bartling, Timur Turga, and Jesper Wulff have been gaining attention recently, and Yannick de la Pêche is one of the prominent solo comedians on the North German scene. The sets are usually very different in style — stand-up meets cabaret, political comedy meets observational humor. It is precisely this mix that makes the marathon format so appealing.
The exact set schedule with the order in the venues will be published by the organizer a few days before the event. The structure follows the proven key points:
