12th Koblenzer Bierbörse with 45 stalls and over 500 types of beer on the Rhine promenade
The Koblenzer Bierbörse is the Koblenz edition of a widely popular beer diversity event series in Germany. The organizer is the nationally active Bierbörse organization, which hosts its festivals in many large and medium-sized cities.
The focus is on the diversity of international beer culture. Over 45 stalls present more than 500 different types of beer from Germany and around the world. Visitors can sample the range, discover new styles, and chat with stallholders about brewing traditions and specialties.
The festival takes place on the Rhine promenade between the Deutsches Eck and the valley station of the cable car – a prominent, easily accessible location directly on the Rhine with a view of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. The stalls are lined up along the promenade, making a stroll between them an automatic journey through international beer culture.
Classic German beers such as Pils, Helles, Weizen, and Kölsch meet Belgian Trappist and monastery beers, British ales, Czech lagers, American IPAs, and craft beer specialties from small breweries. Seasonal specialties like Bock beer, Rauchbier (smoked beer), or honey beer are also on offer. Snacks and street food – from classic Bratwurst to burgers and Mediterranean specialties – complete the offering.
The 2026 edition follows the proven Bierbörse format with free admission. Family atmosphere during the day, live music and party atmosphere in the evenings. The exact stalls, beer highlights, and stage acts will be published on bierboerse.com/city/koblenz.htm.
