The University of Koblenz is the most important higher education institution on the Middle Rhine and was re-established as an independent, comprehensive university following the 2023 higher education reform. SommerUni as a Festival Series
The SommerUni is a festival series that combines the academic program of the university with cultural, sporting, and festive formats. From the opening on May 8, 2026, well into the summer, lectures, readings, workshops, concerts, and networking opportunities will take place on campus, in lecture halls, and outdoors. The goal: to make the university visible as a vibrant place for science and the urban community.
