A Village Becomes a Flea Market
The Kleve Village Flea Market is one of the most popular summer events in the municipality of Kleve in the Dithmarschen district. Residents set up stalls in their driveways, front gardens, and along the main street throughout the village. With a map in hand, you can browse from stall to stall — from toys and books to house clearances and treasures from family cellars.
Proceeds for the Kindergarten
The market is organized by Kinnergoorn «De lütten Landlüüd» e.V. — the local kindergarten association. The proceeds from stall fees and refreshments go entirely to support the kindergarten's work. This makes the village flea market more than just a flea day: it is a concrete, solidarity-based village project that supports the young families of Kleve every year.
Snacks and Drinks at Two Stations
The association provides visitors with snacks and drinks at two central locations: at Hauptstraße 32 and at the stall directly at the kindergarten. An information box in the village provides guidance on where the stalls are located.
Kleve in Middle Dithmarschen — Rural Schleswig-Holstein
The small municipality of Kleve is located in the Amt Mitteldithmarschen, about 12 km east of Heide. The village flea market has been a permanent fixture in the local event calendar since 2020 and is advertised via the official event portal of Mitteldithmarschen. Visitors can also get to know a typical North German village — welcoming, run by volunteers, and with a firm commitment to doing something for the next generation.

7th Edition on September 7
The seventh edition of the Kleve Village Flea Market is announced for Monday, September 7, 2026, from 11 AM to 4 PM — both in the official event calendar of the Mitteldithmarschen Tourist Information and on the website of the organizing association, the kindergarten «Kinnergoorn De lütten Landlüüd» e.V.
Program and Logistics
The entire village center will become a market area. An information box at the village entrance provides orientation on where the stalls are located. Catering at two stations: Hauptstraße 32 and directly at the kindergarten. All proceeds go to the Kita's educational work.

Getting There
Kleve is located in the Amt Mitteldithmarschen, about 12 km east of Heide. By car via the B5 to Heide, then L154 / L156. Nearest train station: Heide (Holstein).
Admission and Stalls
Free admission. Stall fees are charged by the organizer — registration via the Kinnergoorn association. Detailed stall plans will be published shortly before the date on kinnergoorn-kleve.de and in the event calendar of the Mitteldithmarschen Tourist Information.
