Programme Kirmes Nomborn 2026
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in early summer. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years:
- Friday, July 10, 2026: Opening with keg tapping ceremony, disco evening or dance evening in the festival tent.
- Saturday: Live music or party band, festival tent operation until late at night.
- Sunday: Frühschoppen with club participation, family afternoon with coffee and cake.
- Monday, July 13, 2026: Kirmes conclusion with an evening finale in the festival tent.

Westerwald Village Kirmes
The Kirmes Nomborn is one of the traditional summer kirmes (fairs) of the Montabaur administrative district and is anchored in the official Kirmes calendar 2026 of the VG Montabaur (as of October 2025). It follows a long line of Westerwald kirmes dates that take place every weekend of the summer in different municipalities of the administrative district, shaping rural festival life.

From July 10, 2026, to July 13, 2026, the kirmes offers a classic Westerwald program including the opening of the festival tent with a keg tapping ceremony, dance and disco evenings, Frühschoppen (morning pint) on Sunday with club participation, and a family afternoon with coffee, cake, and carousels. Food stalls, sweet shops, and drink stands complement the festival tent activities.
Club and Village Life
The local clubs and the municipality are the organizers of the kirmes, pooling their strengths for the joint summer festival. The fire department, sports clubs, music clubs, carnival associations, and youth groups participate in the program and catering.
