Westerwald Village Kirmes
The Kirmes Montabaur-Horressen is one of the traditional summer kirmes of the Montabaur municipal association and is anchored in the official 2026 Kirmes calendar of the VG Montabaur (as of October 2025). It follows a long line of Westerwald Kirmes dates that take place every weekend of the summer in a different municipality of the association, shaping rural festival life.

From 10 July 2026 to 13 July 2026, the kirmes offers a classic Westerwald programme of festival tent opening with keg tapping, dance and disco evenings, Frühschoppen on Sunday with club participation, and a family afternoon with coffee, cake, and carousels.
