About KCC Sessions

The Koblenzer Carnevals-Club (KCC) is one of the defining carnival societies of the city at the Deutsches Eck. In the 2025/26 season, the KCC invites you to numerous sessions, balls, and theme parties between November 2025 and Ash Wednesday in February 2026. With its own "Schwerdonnerstagsparty" (Fat Thursday party), the performance of its dance troupes and show dance formations, and active participation in the Schängelschiff and the Rosenmontagszug (Rose Monday parade), the KCC is an important part of the Koblenz carnival season, which comprises over 200 events. Dates and tickets at kcc-verein.de.

The Koblenzer Carnevals-Club e.V. (KCC) is one of the most vibrant and far-reaching carnival societies in the city of Koblenz. With a broadly diversified event calendar, the KCC covers all classic disciplines of Rhenish carnival: sessions, balls, theme parties, troupe and show dancing, a "Schwerdonnerstagsparty" (Fat Thursday party), and active participation in the major city parades.

Tradition Meets Event Culture

What sets the KCC apart from other societies is its consistently modern staging. The theme parties – especially the Schwerdonnerstagsparty 2026 – also appeal to a younger audience, combining classic carnival customs with DJ sets, live bands, and elaborate stage technology. In doing so, the KCC succeeds in passing on the carnival spirit to the next generations.

Troupes and Show Dance

Several dance troupes and show dance formations are the club's sporty-artistic calling card. They perform at their own sessions, for friendly societies, at the AKK dance tournament, and in the major parades. The trainers combine the classic tradition of the "Funkenmariechen" (carnival dancers) with modern dance elements.

Embedded in the Koblenz Season

The KCC sessions are part of the Koblenz carnival season 2025/26 under the umbrella of the AKK. Highlights of the city season include the Inthronisation of the Carnival Royalty on January 11, 2026, the Schängelschiff from January 20 to 24, Schwerdonnerstag (Fat Thursday) on February 12 (traditionally with big parties in Koblenz), the Rosenmontagszug (Rose Monday parade) on February 16 at 12:11 PM, and Veilchendienstag (Shrove Tuesday) on February 17 with the "Kehraus" (farewell) tradition in Immendorf.

Who Wants to Participate in the Season

The KCC welcomes new active members for its troupes, show dance groups, "Elferrat" (council of eleven), or organization team. For membership inquiries, registrations for dance groups, and information on session dates, visit kcc-verein.de.
