An Anniversary with a Cologne Star Guest

The Goddert Volunteer Fire Brigade is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2026. For this special occasion, the brigade has invited a correspondingly special star guest: Kasalla, the Cologne cult band that has been one of the most popular representatives of modern Kölsch music for years. With hits like Pirate, Stadt met K, or Mer sin eins, Kasalla has made a name for itself far beyond the region.

The stage for the anniversary concert is the large festival tent at the fire station in Goddert. The Westerwald municipality of Goddert (VG Puderbach) is located in the Neuwied district and, with its active brigade, is a good example of the fire brigade culture that shapes the rural region. The anniversary, with the Kasalla concert, brings a major event to the village that is likely to resonate far beyond the municipal association.

Kasalla — Cologne Atmosphere in the Westerwald

Founded in Cologne in 2011, Kasalla belongs to the younger generation of Kölsch bands, combining traditional atmospheric elements with modern rock and pop influences. Their live concerts are known for their energy, rousing anthems, and a strong connection with the audience. With their performance in Goddert, the band comes to a region where Kölsch music traditionally finds a receptive audience.

A Celebration for the Entire Region
