Karthäuser Kirmesgesellschaft St. Beatus – Summer Festival

The Karthäuser Kirmesgesellschaft St. Beatus e.V. is one of the district associations in the south of Koblenz. It preserves the tradition of the Kirchweih (church consecration festival) in Karthause and is committed to club life, social togetherness, and the preservation of district identity. The annual summer festival is one of the fixed dates in the district calendar.

Karthause Süd – A Koblenz Heights District

Karthause is one of the larger districts of Koblenz on the heights above the left-Rhine part of the city. With the parts Karthause-Nord and Karthause-Süd, a mixed residential structure, and a distinct club landscape, it shapes the urban image on the southern heights. The patron saint of the parish and the Kirmesgesellschaft is St. Beatus – a lesser-known saint in the Catholic tradition.

Summer Festival with Tradition

The Summer Festival of the Karthäuser Kirmesgesellschaft follows the structure of a classic district festival: marquee operations with catering by club members, rides and children's activities, live music or DJ sounds, stage program with local artists, a convivial atmosphere, and an opportunity for residents and guests from surrounding districts to meet.

Club Life Beyond Summer

The Karthäuser Kirmesgesellschaft is not only active in the summer. Throughout the year, the association organizes other events such as Carnival sessions, the St. Martin's Day procession, Christmas gatherings, and club outings.
