Game Stations along the Zitterbach
In the Kampf am Zitterbach, teams of several people compete against each other, moving from station to station with a station map and collecting points. The tasks range from skill games and strength exercises to real water and mud battles. The stations are spread throughout the village, and the Zitterbach, which gives the event its name, naturally plays an important role: anyone who wades through it, crosses a bridge, or carries water in buckets will know exactly why the event is called that by the end.
Club Life in Action
The association Altes Feuerwehrhaus Barfelde operates the former fire station as a meeting place and organizes numerous events throughout the year. The Kampf am Zitterbach is its flagship event, which mobilizes the entire village: helpers set up stations, neighbors support with cake donations, and families cheer on their teams at the stations. Participants and spectators are catered for with bratwurst, drinks, and cake around the fire station.

From the Start at the Fire Station
From 12:00 PM, teams will check in at the fire station, receive their station map, and set off. Over several hours, they will complete the stations, with the evaluation and awards ceremony scheduled for the evening.
Program Structure 2026
