Reuschberge as a Lingen District

Reuschberge is a district of the city of Lingen (Ems), the largest city in the Emsland region. Like many Lingen districts, Reuschberge has retained its own village identity and is home to an active traditional club in its marksmen's association. The club belongs to the Lingen Civil Marksmen's Association (LBSV), an umbrella organization that unites the marksmen's clubs in the Lingen city area and its districts and coordinates joint activities.

The LBSV upholds a long civil marksmen tradition that dates back to the 19th century in Lingen and has shaped urban life for generations.

Jubelfest on June 27, 2026

The Jubelfest on June 27, 2026, from 12 PM to 8 PM, is an extended festival day for the Reuschberge club. The assembly of marksmen, a parade through the district, catering, and musical accompaniment characterize the day. With fixed times from 12 PM to 8 PM, the festival offers a compact day program that allows visitors an undisturbed festival day. The festival is part of the Lingen marksmen's calendar, which, with festivals in many districts spread throughout the season, shapes a vibrant festival culture.

Embedded in Lingen's Marksmen Culture

With its size and the multitude of districts, Lingen is one of the cities in the Emsland region with the most marksmen's festivals. From the Jubelfest in Holthausen-Biene (May 23) to the Jubelfest of the Reuschberge marksmen's club (June 27), there is a diverse festival culture that encompasses the entire city area and is coordinated by the various marksmen's associations (LBSV, VSB).
