Overview

In 2025, the Island Food Festival once again invited guests to Sylt for a festival week featuring 6-hands dinners, champagne evenings, and culinary excursions. Under the direction of Holger Bodendorf, the six host restaurants offered a packed program of star cuisine and guest chefs from Germany and abroad.

The 2025 edition included Perrier-Jouët evenings, a Bordeaux vintage tasting, themed dinners focusing on Greek and Austrian cuisine, and the traditional Final Kitchen Party. The price range extended from €89 (oyster excursion) to €1,600 (Bordeaux vintage dinner) — the festival once again confirmed its status as Northern Germany's most exclusive gourmet event.
