Car Fair in the Westhunsrück

In eleven years, the IOAM has established itself as a key automotive event in the Westhunsrück region. The Messe Idar-Oberstein on John-F.-Kennedy-Straße, with its spacious halls, offers the ideal stage for car dealerships to present models in their full glory, rather than confined to a small showroom. Regional dealerships from Idar-Oberstein, Birkenfeld, Bad Kreuznach, and the entire Naheland region are represented, as are supra-regional brands.

4,000 m² of Exhibition Space

Across approximately 4,000 square meters of exhibition space in all halls and the foyer of the trade fair, sedans, SUVs, station wagons, electric and hybrid models, compact cars, vans, sports cars, and commercial vehicles are displayed side-by-side. Visitors can compare at their own pace, try out seats, receive consultations, and learn about current subsidy programs, financing offers, and residual value concepts. Topics such as alternative drives, e-mobility, hydrogen concepts, and connected mobility are gaining increasing importance.

Classic Car Exhibition as a Highlight

An established highlight is the classic car exhibition. Regional collectors display historical vehicles, often with their own history from the Hunsrück and Mosel regions. The blend of modern mobility and classic automotive culture is what makes the IOAM so appealing – a family weekend for car enthusiasts of all generations.
