Intercultural street festival at Schoelerpark – around 50 stalls, international cuisine, stage and hands-on program
The Intercultural Neighborhood Festival Wilmersdorf is a comparatively young Berlin district festival: the first edition took place in 2023 – the street festival at Volkspark Wilmersdorf was then announced by the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district administration as an important meeting platform between the neighborhoods of the district. The second edition followed on July 27, 2024, lasted from 2 PM to 8 PM, and brought around 50 stalls to the street at Schoelerpark in the western part of Wilmersdorf.
Culinary, the festival represents the diversity of the Wilmersdorf neighborhood: homemade Ukrainian specialties, Sudanese falafel, couscous, German classics, sweets from the Maghreb, cocktails. The stage mixes classic world music sets with Balkan, Klezmer, and dance performances by local associations. For children and teenagers: play activities, craft stations, sports hands-on stations from the Landessportbund Berlin, and movement activities from partner associations.
The organizer is the Verein nachbarschafft e.V. on behalf of the Netzwerk Nachbarschaft Wilmersdorf. Participants include the Auenkirche, the neighborhood-oriented district project BENN Wilmersdorf, the Haus der Nachbarschafft, and other initiatives. Office of the association: Straße am Schoelerpark 37, 10715 Berlin – just a few meters from the festival grounds.
The venue is the Straße am Schoelerpark in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district – a quiet street lined with old buildings and Schoelerpark, located between Bundesallee and Hohenzollerndamm. U-Bahn U9/U7 Berliner Straße (approx. 6 minutes walk) or S-Bahn Heidelberger Platz.
Edition 2026 is in the planning phase. The date and exact program structure will likely be published by Verein nachbarschafft e.V. and Netzwerk Nachbarschaft Wilmersdorf in spring/early summer 2026. The format of previous editions is expected to remain the guideline: street festival at Schoelerpark, international cuisine, stage, hands-on stations, sports and children's activities.
Free admission. Food and drinks at the stalls.
