Four-day festival at Weingut Huster as part of the Ingelheim Wine Estate Festivals 2026
Weingut Huster in Ingelheim is part of the established series of Ingelheim Wine Estate Festivals, a popular summer event in the red wine city where several family-run wineries take turns opening their courtyards to the public.
The festival at Weingut Huster in 2026 spans four days – from Friday to Monday. This longer duration allows for relaxed program planning: those who don't have time on the weekend can come on Monday, and those who want to enjoy it for several days can experience the festival in different moods – from the lively Saturday evening to the quieter Monday afternoon.
The focus is on the wine service. The Huster family presents their current vintage wines. The typical Ingelheim repertoire is dominated by red wines: Pinot Noir in various styles, Frühburgunder, occasionally Dornfelder, and cuvées. Fresh white wines – Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner – as well as rosés complement the offering. Tasting glasses and a wine voucher system facilitate uncomplicated tasting.
The culinary offerings include classic Rheinhessen dishes: Spundekäs, Handkäs mit Musik, Bratwurst, steaks, cheese platters, quiche, Flammkuchen, salads. Vegetarian and vegan options, sweet classics like plum cake, streusel, and seasonal berry creations round off the selection.
The estate atmosphere – beer benches, parasols during the day, fairy lights in the evening – creates a cozy stage for interaction. Personal contact with the wine-growing family is a central value of the festival: guests can ask questions, learn, taste, chat with the vintner, and get to know the winery firsthand.
Moderate musical accompaniment – acoustic sets during the day, occasional small live concerts in the evening – provides the right atmosphere. The festival at Weingut Huster is part of the Wine Estate Festivals series 2026, which runs for several weekends from July to August in Ingelheim.
The 2026 edition continues the four-day format, offering particularly ample time for relaxed evenings at the estate.
