Summer Concert Enjoyment at Charlottensee

The Iburger Sommer is a traditional concert series that takes place from May to September in the Kneipp Experience Park directly on Charlottensee. The venue is the concert shell in the spa park, framed by Iburg Castle, the treetop walkway, and the Kneipp facilities. The series is aimed at spa guests, residents, and day-trippers from the entire Osnabrück region.

A Broad Musical Spectrum

The program includes jazz, swing, country, Schlager, blues, and entertainment music. Local and regional ensembles perform, as well as national formations — from big band sounds to solo programs for children. Additionally, there is a family program with music for the youngest visitors.

The Charm of the Kneipp Experience Park

The Kneipp Experience Park Charlottensee was created as part of the State Garden Show 2018 and has since been the green heart of Bad Iburg. With its water-treading pools, arm baths, barefoot path, and spacious lawns, it offers the ideal setting for relaxed summer concerts. Those who arrive early can secure a spot on the benches in front of the stage — latecomers can relax on the lawn.

Free Admission — A Gift from the Town

All Iburger Sommer concerts are free. Bad Iburg thus offers accessible cultural events in public spaces — financed by spa contributions and sponsors. In case of bad weather, events will be moved to the Schlossarkaden (Castle Arcades) or the inner courtyard of the castle.
