A Family Estate with Mosel Tradition

Ferienweingut Hermes-Lex is one of Trittenheim's traditional family businesses. In addition to wine production from Trittenheim's steep slopes – Altärchen, Apotheke, Leiterchen – the estate also operates holiday apartments, making it a destination for Mosel travelers. The annual Hoffest extends this hospitality to the entire village.

Three Days of Summer Estate Festival

The 2026 Hoffest runs from Friday, July 3rd, to Sunday, July 5th. The courtyard transforms into an open wine stage: wine served directly from the cellar, snack stands, seating in the courtyard and garden, and live music in the evenings. The format is decidedly familial and relaxed – a conscious counterpoint to the larger Mosel folk festivals (Volksfeste).

Trittenheim Riesling in Focus

Riesling from Trittenheim's vineyards dominates the glass, from dry estate Riesling to high-quality Spätlesen (late harvest wines) from the steep slopes. The offering is complemented by white and Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) as well as sparkling wine specialties. Those who want to experience the Mosel terroir of Trittenheim's vineyard sites will find the Hoffest a great opportunity for tasting in direct dialogue with the family business.

On-Site: Culinary Delights and Atmosphere

Culinary offerings at the Hoffest include Flammkuchen (a type of flatbread), regional sausages and cheeses, and Mosel specialties. The live music in the evenings ranges from acoustic solo sets to small cover bands. The atmosphere is typical of Mosel vintner estate festivals: personal, without grand staging, with direct interaction between the vintner family and guests.
