Summer evening flea market in the Worms district of Hochheim
Unlike the classic morning flea market, the Hochheimer Nachtflohmarkt opens its stalls only in the late afternoon and runs into the evening. The evening atmosphere is its charm: warm summer air, longer stays, sociable browsing. Private individuals, associations, and hobby collectors offer used goods, books, clothing, toys, household items, and collectibles.
Worms-Hochheim — historically part of the city of Worms, but separated from the main town by the Rhine — cultivates its own culture of associations and festivals. The local administration organizes several events throughout the year that shape community life: the village festival, Bergkirchen concerts, flea markets, and guided tours of the Jewish cemetery. The night flea market fits into this calendar and serves as a meeting point for Hochheim residents and guests from neighboring towns.
As with many local festivals in Rheinhessen, the Hochheimer Nachtflohmarkt also includes catering. Local associations and initiatives provide food and drinks from the grill, sausages, cold refreshments, and regional wine. Music often plays in the background or a small live program creates a good atmosphere.
The 2026 night flea market in Worms-Hochheim opens on June 20th at 6 PM, taking advantage of the long June days for relaxed evening bargain hunting. Those wishing to reserve a stall should contact the local administration in good time.
As in previous years, catering by local associations is expected — cold drinks, sausages from the grill, often complemented by regional Rheinhessen wine.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in spring and summer. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years:
Worms-Hochheim, town center. The exact setup location will be announced in advance of the event on worms.de.
From 6 PM — a night flea market in the classic sense, lasting into the evening.
Stall registration via the Hochheim local administration. Private vendors and associations welcome.
By car via the Worms Rhine bridge into the district on the right bank of the Rhine. Parking spaces along the streets in Hochheim. Public transport from Worms main station by bus.
