44 Years of Hittfelder Dorffest
The Hittfelder Dorffest has been around since 1983 and will celebrate its 44th edition in 2026. For over four decades, the Hittfeld Business Association has organized this district festival, which is firmly integrated into the festival calendar of the Seevetal municipality. The festival unites local businesses, associations, and residents for a shared weekend.
Three Festival Days from September 11th to 13th, 2026
From Friday 5 PM festival opening to Sunday 8 PM festival closing. Three days of Hittfeld's local spirit in the heart of the district, with live music, food offerings, association stands, and a regional stage program.
Stage and Live Music
Bands, choirs, and solo artists from the region perform on the main stage all three days. Cover bands, Schlager singers, local community choirs, and sometimes even national guests ensure a diverse music program.
Large Flea Market on Sunday
A highlight of every Dorffest is the large flea market on Sunday. Private individuals and traders offer bric-a-brac, antiques, collectibles, and curiosities. The flea market additionally draws visitors from the region to Hittfeld and makes Sunday the busiest festival day.
Associations, Businesses, and Catering
Hittfeld associations present themselves with their own stands, and the Business Association showcases the local economy. Food stalls with North German specialties, bratwurst, fish rolls, potato pancakes, and sweet treats, as well as drinks including beer, wine, and mulled wine, cater to gastronomic needs.
