Neighbourhood festival in Suhl's district of Heinrichs – Free admission
The Heinrichser Brunnenfest is a typical small neighbourhood festival, like those found in many districts of Suhl – supported by an active association, here the Heinrichser Burschenschaft e.V., in cooperation with the Volkshochschule Karl-Mundt Suhl Heinrichs. It thrives on neighbourly interaction and local conviviality, rather than aiming for a supra-regional appeal.
From 3 PM, the Heinrichser Burschenschaft opens the festival day. A live band will provide the atmosphere until the evening. At the bars, cocktails, cold drinks, barbecue specialities, and coffee and cake will be served – a small but complete culinary offering that brings generations together.
Heinrichs is a district of Suhl, an independent city in the Thuringian Forest (state of Thuringia). Suhl is known for its history of arms manufacturing and the Arms Museum, as well as being a winter sports centre (Lotto Thüringen Skisport HALLE). The district of Heinrichs is located on the outskirts of the city and maintains an active club life with its fraternity and adult education centre.
The Brunnenfest is part of the annual programme of the Heinrichser Burschenschaft e.V., which also organises the Heinrichser Kirmes (September 17th–20th, 2026), the Herbstfeuer (Autumn Fire) (October 24th, 2026), and the mulled wine stand on Christmas Eve.
Free.
Suhl is accessible via the A 71 motorway (Suhl exit). City buses run from Suhl main station to Heinrichs.
Free admission. Food and drinks available at the stalls.
