Edition 2025 — Heckenwirtschaft Will
In 2025, the Will family in Güntersleben also opened their traditional autumn service – as every year in the second half of August, just before the grape harvest. Open daily for over two weeks, the Heckenwirtschaft Will served their own wines from Gü-Silvaner to Bacchus, along with Hausmacher Bratwürscht and Häckerplatte. The atmosphere in the courtyard on Thüngersheimer Straße, as always, attracted regulars and hiking tourists from the Main.
2025 Review
The 2025 autumn service followed the proven pattern: open daily from 4:00 PM (Sundays from 3:00 PM), focus on Gü-Silvaner, Franconian Vesper menu with Bratwürscht and Häckerplatte. As every year, without table reservations and with the typical bunch of branches marking the opening period.
Serving in 2025
In addition to the classic Gü-Silvaners in dry and semi-dry, a young Bacchus and Spätburgunder Rosé were also served in 2025. The Will family belongs to the Weinbauverein Güntersleben e.V. (Güntersleben Winegrowers' Association), which represents the Franconian wine region in its small, artisanal form.
