Fun runs (Volksläufe) are a proven form of grassroots sports in Germany: they combine athletic challenge with sociability, family-friendliness, and local connection. The Haster Volkslauf upholds this tradition and is firmly anchored in the Haste district.

The Haste District as a Course Setting

Haste is located on the northern outskirts of Osnabrück and is characterized by a mix of residential areas, more rural spaces, and local recreation areas. The course leads through the district, utilizing the well-developed network of paths and roads for the various distances.

Distances for All Age Groups

The fun run traditionally offers disciplines for all age groups: school and youth races over short distances, classic fun run distances of 5 and 10 kilometers, occasionally half-marathon distances, as well as walking and Nordic walking routes.
