Wassenrock is one of North Rhine-Westphalia's youngest rock open-airs — and is becoming more established with each edition. The Vol. III edition in 2026 will take place on Friday, September 4th, and Saturday, September 5th, 2026, at the festival grounds on Rurstraße in Wassenberg. The festival clearly positions itself in the rock and metal segment, with a "top-class lineup" of established and up-and-coming international and national bands.
