Summer Festival Between Haff and Sea
The Haff-Festtage are the traditional town festival of the Ostseebad Rerik and are celebrated annually on the third weekend of July on the Haffplatz. Rerik is situated on a narrow spit of land between the Salzhaff and the open Baltic Sea – a special location that gives the festival its name. The 2026 edition will be the 34th of its kind; the festival dates back to the early 1990s.
Market, Stage, and Fireworks
Over three days, the Haff-Festtage offer a varied program: a market with traders and showmen, entertainment on the festival stage, folk music and Schlager, dance events, and open-air concerts. A children's program and disco evenings are also included. The grand finale is a fireworks display over the festival grounds. The program is deliberately aimed at all age groups – from families with children to fans of dance music.
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Rostock District
Rerik belongs to the Rostock district and is a state-recognized Baltic seaside resort. The Haff-Festtage are the social highlight of the Rerik summer: they bring the village community together with the many guests who come to the Mecklenburg Bay during the high season, combining the maritime character of the place with a classic North German Volksfest (folk festival).
Haff-Festtage — edition 2026
For the 34th time, the Baltic seaside resort of Rerik will celebrate its Haff-Festtage on the Haffplatz from July 17 to 19, 2026. The town festival on the third weekend of July brings locals and holidaymakers together.
Over three days, there will be market activities, stage entertainment, folk music and Schlager, dance events, open-air concerts, and a children's program. The festival will conclude with fireworks over the festival grounds. The detailed program will be announced by the Rerik spa administration.

Getting There
By car via the A20 (exit Neubukow), then via country roads to Rerik. The Haffplatz is centrally located on the Salzhaff. By train to Neubukow, then continue by bus.
Date and Admission
