Maritime Festival on the Bodden

The Hafenfest Seedorf takes place at the Seedorf Marina, in the district of the same name belonging to the Baltic Sea resort of Sellin on the island of Rügen. Seedorf is located on the Sellin Bodden in the Vorpommern-Rügen district, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The sheltered natural harbour is a popular mooring for sailors and gives the festival its maritime flair.

Tradition with a New Start

After a break, the Hafenfest Seedorf is resuming its tradition. It is organised by the Sellin Tourist Board in conjunction with the Seedorf Regatta Club – a collaboration between tourism and local club life that gives the festival its authentic character.

Regattas and Water Sports

Water sports are the focus: the sailing club organises regattas and offers activities centred around the water. Visitors can follow the events on the Bodden from the shore. This combination of active sailing and a harbour festival makes Seedorf a typical festival of the North German coastal region.

Music, Culinary Delights, and Children's Programme

In addition to water sports, the festival features live music, regional specialities, and a programme for children. It starts every day in the late afternoon.
