About Vineyard Hike

Once a year, the Großheubach Viticulture Association invites you to a vineyard hike along the wine education trail on Bischofsberg. During a leisurely circular route through the autumnal vineyards of Churfranken, hikers pass by wine stands of local vintners, sample regional wines and Franconian delicacies, and enjoy the view over the Main valley. A traditional event that combines hiking, wine enjoyment, and conviviality.

On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the Großheubach Viticulture Association, in cooperation with the Markt Großheubach, invites you to the 38th Vineyard Hike. The starting and meeting point is the parking lot for the wine education trail on Hüterweg.

On the circular route through the vineyard slopes of Bischofsberg, local vintners operate wine stands with Großheubach wines, supplemented by Franconian delicacies and snacks. The wine education trail provides information en route about grape varieties and local viticulture. Admission is free.

Getting There

Großheubach is located in the Miltenberg district in Churfranken. From the direction of Kleinheubach, take the second exit at the roundabout towards Hüterweg; the parking lot for the wine education trail is located there. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
