Harbor Friends and Lulu Meinders

The Hafenfreunde Neuharlingersiel e.V. have been a driving force in the cultural life of this East Frisian tidal harbor town for years. Since 2010, they have operated the traditional ship "Lulu Meinders" – a historic crab cutter that keeps the history of East Frisian coastal fishing alive. The annual Großes Hafenfest is one of the association's most important events.
