Göllheim and the Donnersbergkreis

Göllheim is the seat of the Göllheim administrative district in the Donnersbergkreis and is located in the southern part of this rural region between the Donnersberg mountain and the Rhine plain. The town is known for its historic center with half-timbered buildings, the Alter Marktplatz, and the characteristic St. Peter's Church. Cultural life shapes the community, and the Torbogenfest is one of the annual highlights.

Concept and Atmosphere

The Torbogenfest combines a festival character with cultural ambition. The open-air concerts on the Alter Marktplatz feature cover bands, tribute acts, jazz ensembles, and local music associations. The stage is manageable, the acoustics are good, and the medieval houses of the market square form an extraordinary backdrop. Catering with wine, beer, culinary specialties, and snacks is guaranteed.

Cultural Program on the Side

In addition to the concerts, the Torbogenfest includes an accompanying cultural program: The vernissage on Wednesday opens an art exhibition, the reading on Thursday focuses on literature, and the seniors' meal on Monday concludes the festival weekend with a convivial meal for the older generation. This mix of high culture, pop, and community care is the festival's strength.

Headliner 2026

With EVERGLOW as a Coldplay tribute, a top-class cover experience is on the program on Friday evening. EVERGLOW interprets Coldplay's songs with great authenticity and atmospheric stage presence. On Saturday, the REVENGERS band performs, thrilling the audience with rock cover sets. Sunday is dedicated to local music culture with the Göllheim Music Association and the Unnerhaus Jazzband.
