Trade fair of the Gellersen municipality with companies, clubs, and associations — Gellersenhalle Reppenstedt
The Gellersen Messe is more than just a trade fair. It combines the presentation of local businesses with a club showcase, making the entire social diversity of the municipality visible. Companies present their products and services, craft businesses demonstrate their work, clubs recruit new members, social organizations provide information about their offerings, and the municipal administration offers citizen information. This mix makes the fair a meeting point for the entire population of the five member communities.
In addition to the stands, the fair offers a supporting program with demonstrations — craft demonstrations, show acts by sports clubs, dance performances, live music. Families will find a dedicated children's program with a bouncy castle, craft activities, hands-on stations, and occasional performances by kindergarten children and school choirs. Catering is organized through several stands — bratwurst, cake, coffee, vegetarian specialties.
The venue is the Gellersenhalle in Reppenstedt — the central hall of the Gellersen municipality. The spacious hall with outdoor areas offers ample space for stands, a stage, catering, and visitor areas. Reppenstedt itself, with around 7,000 inhabitants, is the largest community in the municipality and the seat of administration.
The Gellersen municipality, west of Lüneburg, comprises the member communities of Reppenstedt, Westergellersen, Südergellersen, Kirchgellersen, and Wittorf. With a total of around 15,000 inhabitants, it is one of the most populous municipalities in the Lüneburg district. The Gellersen Messe is an important event that makes the five communities visible together and strengthens the sense of community in the municipality.
As in previous years, the Gellersenhalle and its outdoor area will be filled with stands, a stage, catering, and visitor areas on both days of the fair. The exact exhibitor list for 2026 will be published by the business association in spring. Experience shows that all important sectors of the municipality will be represented — from heating companies and the local savings bank to bakeries, and from sports clubs and the fire department to the church community.
The detailed program for 2026 will be published by the Gellersen municipality and the business association in spring. The structure follows the proven key points of previous years:
