What began as a small summer party in the park has become a brand in its own right: the Garden Party in the Park der Gärten in Bad Zwischenahn-Rostrup is Northern Germany's largest garden party, featuring five stages and dance floors spread throughout the grounds. The organizer is Park der Gärten gGmbH, which transforms the historic garden show area into a unique open-air experience for this one evening.
2026 Edition on July 4
The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026. As in previous years, the event is already sold out — the garden party is one of those summer festivals whose tickets disappear within a few days.
What Visitors Can Expect
On 5 dance floors, DJs and live bands play various music styles simultaneously — from pop and charts to disco classics, Schlager, and electronic sounds. Several bars are located throughout the grounds, and food trucks and upscale catering serve the guests. The theme gardens provide a unique backdrop — illuminated flowerbeds, illuminated water features, and sculptures create the special atmosphere.
