Mountain festival with tradition on the Gallner

The Gallnerbergfest is one of the most traditional mountain festivals in the Bavarian Forest. The venue is the Gallner, at 709 meters the local mountain of the communities Konzell and Stallwang in the district of Straubing-Bogen, in the state of Bavaria. For decades, the festival has been celebrated every year on Whit Monday – a fixed date in the region's calendar of customs.

Mountain service and brass music

The festival day begins at 10 a.m. with a solemn mountain service at the Gallnerkirchlein, the small mountain chapel on the summit. Afterwards, the Konzeller Musikanten provide a lively atmosphere with traditional brass music. For physical well-being, everything is well taken care of:
