Traditional mountain festival on Whit Monday in the Bavarian Forest
The Gallnerbergfest is one of the most traditional mountain festivals in the Bavarian Forest. The venue is the Gallner, at 709 meters the local mountain of the communities Konzell and Stallwang in the district of Straubing-Bogen, in the state of Bavaria. For decades, the festival has been celebrated every year on Whit Monday – a fixed date in the region's calendar of customs.

Afterwards, the Konzeller Musikanten will provide musical entertainment with traditional brass music. Barbecue specialties, drinks, and coffee and cake round off the convivial mountain festival, which invites families and hikers from the entire region for a Whit Monday excursion.
