ASV Faßberg e.V. hosts the youth football tournament annually, inviting junior teams from the region for an entire weekend at the Faßberg sports ground. Over two days, teams in various age groups play their preliminary rounds, semi-finals, and finals — with a clear commitment: more than just the trophy counts here.

Weekend Tournament Over Two Days

The tournament on May 24th and 25th, 2026 spans the entire weekend. Teams from the Celle district and neighboring regions arrive on Saturday morning and participate in preliminary and group matches. Sunday features the semi-finals and finals. Overnight accommodation and catering throughout the weekend make the Friends-Cup a true club outing for the participating teams.

Volksfest Atmosphere Around the Sports Ground

What distinguishes the Friends-Cup is the Volksfest atmosphere surrounding the sporting competitions: a marquee with catering, bratwurst and snack stands, children's activities, DJ or live music on Saturday evening. Parents, grandparents, club friends, and team fans attend in large numbers — making the Friends-Cup a true Faßberg club event.
