The Frankenthal Civic Reception has been a firm fixture in the municipal event calendar for decades and is considered a central format for a culture of recognition in the city's society. The evening begins with admission from 6:00 PM and an aperitif in the foyer of the CongressForum. At 7:00 PM, the Lord Mayor opens the festive event in the Great Hall with a speech highlighting the most important events of the past year and particularly honoring selected personalities or initiatives. This is followed by short stage contributions, musical interludes, and a moderated show program featuring contributions from Frankenthal's club life.
