Ceremony of the City of Frankenthal to honor voluntary engagement in the Great Hall of the CongressForum
The Frankenthal Civic Reception has been a firm fixture in the municipal event calendar for decades and is considered a central format for a culture of recognition in the city's society. Invited are club boards, volunteers, representatives of social institutions, school representatives, and city council members.
The evening begins with admission from 6:00 PM and an aperitif in the foyer of the CongressForum. At 7:00 PM, the Lord Mayor opens the festive event in the Great Hall with a speech highlighting the most important events of the past year and particularly honoring selected personalities or initiatives. This is followed by short stage contributions, musical interludes, and a moderated show program featuring contributions from Frankenthal's club life.
The motto captures the idea that a city cannot function without the active engagement of its citizens. Contributions are planned from the areas of integration, neighborhood help, voluntary youth work, and cultural associations.
After the official part, the social part of the evening takes place in the foyer and the large festival hall with a buffet and drinks. There will be opportunities to network, make new contacts, and talk with representatives of the city administration.
The event is an invitation-only event organized by the city administration. Specific program points and contributions will be communicated in writing to invited guests a few weeks before the date.
The Civic Reception is an important social event in Frankenthal's city year, attracting representatives from all areas of municipal life.
