Three evenings on the Fränkel premises

Fränkel AG is a traditional family business from Friedrichshafen. For years, it has opened its company premises in June for an open-air weekend that combines a concert, after-work party, and a premium culinary evening on three consecutive nights. The Fränkel Open Air is not a classic music festival: each evening has its own character, its own audience, and its own ticket. What all three events have in common is that all proceeds go to charitable causes.

Thursday, June 18th — After-work with DJ Big Tim

The kick-off on Thursday evening (5:30 PM–10 PM) is a classic after-work party with DJ Big Tim. Admission in advance: €5 including a drink voucher. Significantly more expensive in the evening. The mix of 'unmistakable classics' and energetic dance sound draws a young professional audience to the premises — a relaxed summer evening to round off the week near the harbor.

Friday, June 19th — Vanessa Mai live

The main concert of the weekend: on Friday, Vanessa Mai performs from 5:30 PM (concert until 11 PM). The schlager and pop singer with ten top-10 albums presents her greatest hits — from 'Ich sterb für dich' to 'Himbeerrot'. Tickets: €10 (adults and teenagers from 12), €5 (children 6–11). Seats are limited and available from the Fränkel AG administrative office.

Saturday, June 20th — Genuss am See (sold out)

The highlight for gourmets and wine enthusiasts is Genuss am See on Saturday. Star chefs, award-winning wineries, and brewers from the Lake Constance region offer a high-quality premium experience on the Fränkel premises — complemented by live music from a band and stage entertainment. Seats are highly sought after; in 2026, the evening is already sold out.

Friedrichshafen — City on Lake Constance

Friedrichshafen, with its approximately 62,000 inhabitants, is located on the northern shore of Lake Constance in the Bodenseekreis district. The city is primarily known for the Zeppelin Museum, the Dornier Museum, and its long history as a location for the aviation industry. The Fränkel Open Air complements the city's summer offerings with a small but charming open-air series supported by private initiative — an example of how medium-sized companies engage in cultural activities in the Lake Constance region.

The special character of this event: Fränkel AG donates all proceeds from all three evenings to charitable causes.
