Spring Market at Am Sande in Tostedt

Tostedt is a municipality in the western district of Harburg, located on the A1 motorway between Hamburg and Bremen. The historic market square Am Sande in the heart of Tostedt is the traditional venue for markets and folk festivals. The Frühlingsmarkt f.u.n. is organized by Töster Kreis e.V., an association committed to the cultural and economic life of Tostedt.

Two Festival Days on May 30th and 31st, 2026

Saturday and Sunday form the festival framework. Saturday focuses on the evening with live music starting at 6 PM, while Sunday offers an all-day program from 11 AM to 6 PM with the market, association fair, and stage shows.

Arts & Crafts and Regional Producers

Artisans from the region present their work: ceramics, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, glass, and leather goods. Regional producers offer fresh products from the Lüneburger Heide and the Harburg district: heather honey, cheese, sausages, baked goods, liqueurs, and juices. The market is a platform for local artisans and producers.

Stage Program and Live Music

On Saturday evening, live music starts on the main stage from 6 PM. Bands, solo artists, and cover groups from the region provide a lively market opening. On Sunday, the program continues with further performances, interspersed with activities for children and families.

Day of Associations

A special feature is the Day of Associations on Sunday. Tostedt's clubs, initiatives, and organizations present themselves at their own stands, provide information about their activities, and recruit members. Sports, cultural, and social clubs showcase the diversity of local club life and make the Frühlingsmarkt a meeting place for the citizens of Tostedt.
