A Day of Openness in Fehrbach

The HEINRICHs Netzwerk in Pirmasens-Fehrbach is a social institution committed to inclusive encounters, social engagement, and community values. With the Spring Festival and Open Day, the network presents itself outwardly once a year – as an invitation to the citizens of Pirmasens to get an impression of their work and to be part of a diverse program.

Opening with a Church Service

The event begins at 11:15 AM with a church service, musically accompanied by the Pirminius Choir. The connection between faith and social commitment is a core concern for many networks rooted in the diaconal tradition. The Pirminius Choir – named after the patron saint of Pirmasens – provides the festive setting for the service.

Music, Dance, and Creative Activities

Throughout the day, various music groups will perform, and an inclusive dance group will present their programs. Inclusive means: people with and without disabilities dance together, demonstrating what inclusion means in practice. From 2 PM onwards, the focus is on children: creative activities, hands-on projects, and play opportunities make the afternoon a family event.

Free Shuttle Service

Erlenbrunner Straße 51 is located in the Fehrbach district on the outskirts of Pirmasens. To make travel possible without a car, the network organizes a free shuttle service. This makes the Spring Festival easily accessible – a practical expression of its commitment to inclusion.
