About Foodtruck Mile Westerburg
The Foodtruck Mile Westerburg transforms the market square of the northern Westerwald town into an international gourmet mile for three days. Food trucks from all over the world present their specialties — from burgers and BBQ to Asian and Mexican dishes to sweet temptations. Live music and family entertainment make the weekend a feast for all the senses.
In 2026, the Foodtruck Mile will be open from Friday, May 29th to Sunday, May 31st. Friday from 5 PM to 10 PM, Saturday from 12 PM to 10 PM, Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM. Free admission — payment is made exclusively at the trucks for the respective food and drinks.

Westerburg — Gateway to the Northern Westerwald
Westerburg, with around 6,000 inhabitants, is one of the medium-sized towns in the northern Westerwald district. The town, with its castle, charming market square, and vibrant city center, has developed into an event magnet in recent years. The Foodtruck Mile is one of the newer, but already very popular, festivals in the annual calendar.
The Foodtruck Mile Concept
In contrast to classic city festivals with bratwurst stands and beer tents, the Foodtruck Mile focuses on culinary diversity and quality. Carefully selected food trucks bring their specialties to Westerburg. The range typically includes: Premium burgers, slow-cooked BBQ, Asian street food specialties (Bao Buns, Ramen, Bowls), Mexican tacos and burritos, Italian stone-oven pizzas, regional Wäller specialties, vegan and vegetarian options, sweet temptations like crêpes, donuts, and ice cream.
Three Days of Indulgence
The weekend is designed so that visitors can come multiple times: Friday evening as a kick-off for the after-work vibe, Saturday as the main event day with the longest opening hours, and Sunday as a relaxed family day.
Live Music and Family Entertainment
Accompanying program ensures atmosphere: Live music with regional bands and singer-songwriters, small family entertainment for the youngest guests, seating and bar tables distributed across the market square, sun and rain protection. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the street food festivals in big cities, brought into the familiar Westerwald setting.
Free Admission
Admission is free. Payment is made exclusively at the trucks for the respective food and drinks. This pricing structure lowers the barrier to entry and makes the Foodtruck Mile particularly attractive for families and spontaneous visitors.

Come hungry and try — the variety tempts you to have several smaller dishes instead of one large main course. Family-friendly atmosphere. Pack sun protection in warm weather, a jacket in cooler Westerwald weather.
