The Light Festival as a Double Format

Over the years, the 'Festival of 1000 Lights' has become one of the iconic formats of the Zweibrücken Rose Garden. The light festival takes place twice per season: once in June as the highlight of the rose bloom (Rose Days), and once in August as a summer revival with its own musical program. The August edition benefits from the long, warm summer evenings and a slightly different light effect due to the late summer flowering phase.

Two Festival Evenings with Different Music Programs

A dedicated live music program is presented on both festival evenings. On the first evening (August 28), ShortWay opens the musical proceedings, with The Soul Family as the headliner; Eddi Danco will perform on the acoustic stage. On the second evening (August 29), Red Couch will be the opener, followed by DIE DICKEN KINDER as the headliner; special guests are Double Z, brothers Elias and Michael Zobeley, known from 'The Voice of Germany' (SAT.1).

Laser Show Instead of Fireworks

A deliberate conceptual decision in recent years: a laser show has replaced the classic fireworks. This choice takes into account environmental and animal welfare considerations, as well as the possibility of achieving more precise visual effects. The laser show forms the finale of both festival evenings.

Tickets and Travel

Tickets are available in advance via rosengarten-zweibruecken.de; timely booking is recommended given the growing number of visitors. Public transport is available; parking is available at the Rose Garden. Due to the evening event, warm clothing (jacket, scarf) is recommended.
