About Feller Weinspektakel

On March 28 and 29, 2026, the weekend before Palm Sunday, the Feller Maximiner Weinspektakel invites you to the Fell Visitor Mine. Over 60 wineries will present more than 500 wines and sparkling wines from the Mosel, Saar, and Ruwer regions, transforming the former slate mine into one of Germany's most spectacular wine fairs. The weekend combines top-class tastings with masterclass formats (including with Roman Niewodniczanski of Van Volxem), a Saturday evening soirée with DJ Daumi, a farmers' and craft market on Sunday, a falconry demonstration, a vintage car exhibition, and live music from the big band “More Than Swing.” An extraordinary symbiosis of wine culture, mining history, and regional diversity.

The Feller Maximiner Weinspektakel has developed into one of the most remarkable wine fairs along the Mosel in recent years. In the Fell Visitor Mine, a former slate mine in the Trier-Saarburg district, over 60 wineries will meet on the weekend before Palm Sunday (March 28 and 29, 2026) with more than 500 wines and sparkling wines from the Mosel, Saar, Ruwer, and neighboring regions. The slate tunnels form an atmospherically unique backdrop that gives the event its distinctive character.

The program is divided into two days with different focuses. On Saturday, the tastings will be complemented by a Masterclass with Roman Niewodniczanski (Van Volxem Winery, Saar), one of Germany's most renowned winemakers. In the evening, a Soirée with DJ Daumi will take place – wine, music, and the mine atmosphere combine for an immersive experience.

Sunday expands the format to include a Farmers' and Craft Market, a Falconry Demonstration, a Vintage Car Exhibition, and live music from the big band “More Than Swing”. This transforms the weekend into a family event that appeals not only to dedicated wine connoisseurs but also to broader visitor groups.

The location in Fell, a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district on the Mosel, as well as the combination of wine, mining history (the visitor mine is considered an important industrial monument), and regional cultural program make the Weinspektakel one of the most original wine events in the Mosel region.
