Fahrdorf Open Air — edition 2026

The Fahrdorf Open Air 2026 opens its private grounds in Fahrdorf from June 25 to 28 for a maximum of 250 rock and metal fans. Three days of live music, camping directly on the grounds, all-inclusive ticket with admission and drinks. Registration by e-mail required.

The 2026 edition runs for four days: arrival and camping from Thursday, stage program from Friday to Sunday. Thursday begins with campsite setup from 12 p.m., the stage program starts at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the music plays from 1 p.m. onwards.

The maximum of 250 spots are allocated exclusively by advance registration. The all-inclusive ticket bundles admission, camping, and drinks – no cash on site, no additional costs.

Festival in a Family Atmosphere

The Fahrdorf Open Air (F:O:A for short) is everything that large rock festivals are not: small, personal, exclusive. It is held on private grounds in the municipality of Fahrdorf – a village of 1,500 inhabitants in the district of Schleswig-Flensburg, directly on the southern shore of the Schlei near Schleswig. The organizers describe the festival as a "garden party with a difference": rock and metal fans meet for three days in a relaxed atmosphere, with short distances between the stage, camping, and amenities.

A maximum of 250 visitors are admitted – registration required, no open ticket sales. The family-like size allows for what is no longer possible at large festivals: direct contact between bands and the audience, joint campfire sessions, personal conversations with the musicians after their performances.
