Electroid Festival — SOKU Neustadt Open Air

The Electroid Festival is one of the few pure electronic/techno festivals in the Palatinate and an important date for the regional club culture scene. The 2026 edition is the 3rd edition and takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026 – an open-air night from 4 PM to 4 AM.

The venue is the SOKU Neustadt, an established event space within Neustadt an der Weinstraße, known for its combination of indoor and outdoor floors – an ideal setup for a hybrid festival concept that utilizes both the warm August evenings outdoors and the club atmosphere indoors.

The 2026 headliner list reads like a who's who of German techno and trance history:

• TALLA 2XLC – a German trance legend, one of the most influential DJs in the scene since the 1990s, founder of the label “Tunnel Records” and co-creator of the German trance movement.
• DR. MOTTE – founder of the legendary Love Parade Berlin and pioneer of German techno culture.
• Taucher – German trance icon and resident DJ of legendary clubs in the 1990s and 2000s.
• Andreas Kraemer – Palatinate techno DJ and one of the consistent voices of the regional scene.

The musical direction spans the broad spectrum of Electronic Dance Music: trance, techno, classic house, hardgroove, and hard techno sets depending on the DJ. The mix of established legends and regional acts is the hallmark of the Electroid Festival.

Tickets are already available as blind tickets in presale – a common practice in the techno scene, where a discounted price is paid in advance before the full lineup is known. The complete program with all acts will be announced in the weeks before the festival on the official website and via Eventim.
