Eisenberg in the Donnersbergkreis

Eisenberg (Pfalz) is a town in the Donnersbergkreis in the southeastern part of this rural region. With around 9,000 inhabitants, Eisenberg is one of the larger municipalities in the district and culturally active. The town has a modern administration, a dedicated city society, and an attractive event calendar, which will be enriched with a new event in 2026: the Street Food Event and Classic Car Meet.

Street Food as a Festival Concept

Street food events have become a popular festival format in recent years: food trucks and mobile kitchens from the region and beyond present an international and regional culinary diversity. Burgers, pulled pork, Asian specialties, vegan and vegetarian alternatives, sweet treats, and creative mixes are offered side by side. The open atmosphere, the opportunity to try different foods, and the festive ambiance make street food events particularly attractive.

1st Classic Car Meet on Sunday

The first Eisenberg Classic Car Meet on Sunday, May 10, is a premiere and adds a nostalgic element to the street food event. Around 50 classic cars – cars, motorcycles, and possibly commercial vehicles from different eras – will be presented at the market square. Fans of technical history, automotive art, and classics will find a feast for the eyes here. The event creates an unusual combination of culinary delights, music, and automotive history.

Music and Family Program

On Saturday evening, the regionally known band “Die Buwe” will perform, creating a Palatinate atmosphere. A children's program running parallel to the event makes the festival visit family-friendly. On Sunday, Jan-Luca Ernst & Band will play in the afternoon, complementing the classic car exhibition with live music. Free admission makes the event accessible to all generations and budgets.
