Electromobility meets Camping

The E-Camper Meeting Steyerberg is a young but steadily growing event on the North German camping scene. It is aimed at the growing community of those who want to combine camping with electromobility – whether with electric motorhomes, e-campervans, electric towing vehicles for caravans, or alternative e-camping concepts.

Electric Camping Community

The event is organized by the Electric Camping Community, a nationwide community that addresses the specific challenges and benefits of e-camping. Topics include range, charging infrastructure at campsites, the use of solar modules, battery storage in living areas, and the practicalities of long journeys with electric vehicles.

Location Steyerberg

Steyerberg is a municipality in the southern district of Nienburg/Weser and belongs to the Steyerberg collective municipality. The parking lot at Amtshof offers ample space for participants' vehicles and is centrally located, within walking distance of the town's shops and restaurants. The rural surroundings and proximity to the Weser river make Steyerberg an attractive location.

Program and Atmosphere

Unlike commercial camper fairs, the E-Camper Meeting is a community gathering: The focus is on direct exchange between participants, mutual inspection of vehicles, technical discussions, communal cooking and dining, short presentations, and workshops on specific e-camping topics. The atmosphere is familiar and open.

Pentecost as a Shared Weekend

The meeting deliberately takes place over Pentecost – one of the most traditional camping weekends of the year in Germany. The four-day duration from Pentecost Saturday to Pentecost Monday offers time for relaxed arrival, intensive encounters, and a cozy departure. The shared date creates identity and a sense of belonging in the young e-camping scene.
