Behind the premiere are three organizations that shape village life in Gödenstorf: FC Gödenstorf as the sports club, the Protestant parish as the spiritual center, and the volunteer fire brigade as the pillar of safety through volunteering. The cooperation of the three groups is programmatic: it signals that the village can celebrate its diversity under one common roof.

Sportplatz Hohe Heide as the Festival Ground

The Sportplatz Hohe Heide is the home ground of FC Gödenstorf and offers space for a stage, stalls, sports areas, and play zones. Its central location in the municipality makes the sports field a natural meeting point, providing the ideal backdrop for the premiere of the village festival.

Large Flea Market in the Afternoon

A special element of the premiere is the large flea market from 2 PM to 5 PM. Private individuals from Gödenstorf and the surrounding area will offer second-hand items, creating an atmosphere of browsing and chatting. The flea market will liven up the festival grounds and provide opportunities for encounters between sellers and visitors.

Sports and Spirituality

The program combines the aims of the three organizers: the FC offers hands-on sports activities on the field, the Protestant parish provides spiritual inspiration and contemplative moments, and the fire brigade presents emergency equipment and interactive stations for children. If the format is successful, the Samtgemeinde Salzhausen will gain another village festival date in its already rich event calendar. Thus, the festival joins the tradition of numerous village, Schützenfest (marksmen's festival), and club festivals in the region.
