A Festival of the Associations

The Dorffest Barskamp is one of the traditional summer festivals in the Lüneburg district and is organised jointly by the local associations every year. Barskamp is a district of the town of Bleckede on the Elbe, nestled in the gently rolling landscape between the Lüneburger Heide and the Elbe Valley. The village community cultivates a vibrant club life: the volunteer fire brigade, sports club, men's choir, and village association are the pillars of cultural and social life.
