Concert series by Kulturring Dinklage with six concerts at three unusual locations, from Comedy Harmonists to Robbie Experience
The Dinklager Sommermusik has a remarkable concept: it brings high-quality concerts to unusual locations — the Halle Brockhaus, the Halle Ruhe, and the Halle Hilgefort. These industrial and commercial halls in Dinklage are transformed into special concert spaces for the evenings. The acoustics, atmosphere, and spatial generosity lend the concerts a character that classical concert halls cannot offer.
The 2026 concert series includes six concerts spread across the summer and early autumn season:
The Real Comedian Harmonists are a modern homage to the original Comedian Harmonists from the 1930s — one of the most famous vocal ensembles in German music history. The group performs classics like “Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus,” “Veronika, der Lenz ist da,” and “Wochenend und Sonnenschein” in the Dinklage hall.
Two tribute shows complement the program: The Westernhagen Show features the hits of the great German rocker Marius Müller-Westernhagen — from “Mit Pfefferminz bin ich dein Prinz” to “Freiheit” and “Sexy.” The Robbie Experience is a tribute show to Robbie Williams, featuring the major pop hits of the British star.
Two classically sophisticated programs add variety: The Percussion Evening with Johannes Claassen showcases percussion in its full spectrum — from vibraphone and marimba to smaller percussion instruments. The Opera Gala with Elisabeth Dopheide brings arias and songs from the classical opera repertoire to the industrial hall — a contrast that defines the special appeal of the Sommermusik.
The finale is a concept that combines the hits of Simon and Garfunkel with classical arrangements. “Bridge over Troubled Water,” “The Sound of Silence,” “Mrs. Robinson,” “Scarborough Fair” — folk classics in a symphonic setting.
The organizer is Kulturring Dinklage — a dedicated association that enriches the city's cultural life through a broad program. The Sommermusik is one of the highlights of the association's year, remaining financially accessible with tickets priced between 25 and 35 Euros.
