Three Days of the Finest Street Food
Street food festivals have become a firm fixture in the event landscape in recent years. The focus is on creative, international cuisine from mobile kitchens, often prepared with craftsmanship and connected to the stories of the chefs. The Delmenhorst edition brings together around 20 trucks for a culinary journey around the world.
International Cuisine Under the Open Sky
The menu includes Persian specialties, Spanish tapas and paella, Latin American bowls and empanadas, Asian dishes, and of course, a wide selection of desserts. Sweet classics like crêpes, donuts, and unusual ice cream variations provide the perfect end to a street food indulgence.
Vai Ven, DJs, and Silent Disco
The Latin cover band Vai Ven creates a lively atmosphere with Latin American rhythms. DJs complement the musical offerings over the three festival days. A dance area is also part of the concept.
Magician Tim Jantzen on Sunday
On Sunday, May 31st, magician Tim Jantzen presents magic tricks for families. With his show, he enchants children and adults alike – a highlight for the festival's family finale.
Quiz Competition
During the event, a quiz with small prizes encourages visitors to participate. The quiz revolves around the culinary themes of the festival, making the visit particularly interactive.
Open Shopping Sunday
Sunday, May 31st, is an open shopping day: from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the shops in Delmenhorst's city center open their doors. Those who want to stroll after their culinary excursion will find the ideal opportunity.
Streetfood Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition brings international diversity of mobile kitchens to the heart of Delmenhorst. A colorful variety of flavors will be created in a small space, complemented by a varied stage program and activities for families.
Boese Events and the DWFG have jointly established the format and are expanding it annually. With the open shopping Sunday, the event is closely linked to the city's commercial life.
