Deizisau Festival Days — the big community festival on the Neckar

The Deizisau Festival Days are the most important community festival of the year in Deizisau — a municipality with just under 7,500 inhabitants in the Esslingen district, located on the Neckar between Esslingen and Plochingen. From July 25th to 27th, 2026 (Saturday to Monday), the next edition will take place on the traditional date: the weekend before the start of the Baden-Württemberg summer holidays. The organizer is the Schneesterne Ski Club Deizisau e.V., which organizes the festival together with all Deizisau clubs.

Three days at the festival grounds

The festival takes place on the Deizisau festival grounds directly on the B10 — a site specifically reserved for such events, where a large festival marquee, a giant beer garden, stage, amusement park, and stalls are set up. Three days with a clearly structured program:

• Saturday, July 25th, 2026 — Opening Day
• Sunday, July 26th, 2026 — Main Program Day with Festival Parade
• Monday, July 27th, 2026 — Community Children's Festival

Saturday — Festival Opening and Live Band in the Evening

The festival weekend starts on Saturday from 2:30 PM. A festival committee consisting of the mayor, club representatives, and the Schneesterne Ski Club will officially open the event with keg tapping. Senior citizens' afternoon from 2:30 PM with coffee and cake, catering in the festival marquee throughout the day. In the evening from 7:30 PM, a live band will play in the festival marquee — typically a party band or cover band with a repertoire ranging from Schlager to Rock.

Sunday — Morning Pint and Grand Parade

Sunday is the busiest festival day. From 10 AM, an ecumenical festival service, followed by a morning pint from 11 AM in the festival marquee with brass music. At 1 PM, the Grand Parade starts — hundreds of participants from Deizisau clubs, friendly municipalities, music bands, fanfare corps, traditional costume and dance groups will march through the town. The parade is known beyond the region and is one of the main reasons why visitors from the entire district come to Deizisau. From 2:30 PM, a children's disco, from 3 PM, brass music in the festival marquee. Evening from 7:30 PM, live band.

Monday — Community Children's Festival

Monday is all about the children. From 1 PM, the Community Children's Festival with catering in the festival marquee, from 3 PM, a play street with stations from various clubs (bouncy castle, skill games, face painting, craft activities), from 7 PM, the Deizisau Music Association performs, and from 9 PM, a lantern parade as a magical end to the festival.

Deizisau is a classic Swabian municipality in the commuter belt of Stuttgart, located on the Neckar between Esslingen am Neckar and Plochingen. Industry, a residential area for commuters, but with a functioning club landscape and a strong club life. The festival days are the annual showcase of this club structure — and the one event where the entire community comes together.
